Baku / 04.11.19 / Turan: The Republican Alternative Party (REAL) will hold an extraordinary congress. The decision was made on November 3 by the Supreme Majlis of the party.
According to Meidan TV, the head of the party’s Mejlis Azer Gasimli, the congress is connected with the proposal of the party leader Ilgar Mammadov about the need to change the party’s charter. According to Mammadov, this is necessary for the successful participation of party members in the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, Gasimly does not agree with this and considers the proposed changes as a manifestation of “authoritarianism”, without specifying exactly what this is expressed. He also did not say exactly when the extraordinary congress would take place. -02D-
