Agreements on security of Nagorno-Karabakh reached at meeting with Putin - Pashinyan
Baku/20.04.22/Turan: On Wednesday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on an official visit to Russia, announced the agreements reached on the Karabakh issue.
During a meeting with State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, he noted that the day before, at a meeting with President Putin, an agreement was reached on the security of Nagorno-Karabakh, the unblocking of regional infrastructure and the demarcation and delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. What exactly the agreements are, Pashinyan did not disclose.
Today, Pashinyan was received by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who stated that Russia pays special attention to the agreements between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on unblocking economic and transport communications in the South Caucasus.
“I am convinced that the creation of new infrastructure routes will ensure the sustainable development of the region, will contribute to strengthening peace and stability for the benefit of all the countries of the South Caucasus. Russia will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Armenia," he said.
According to Mishustin, thanks to the work of the Russian Rapid Response Center in Nagorno-Karabakh, conditions are being created for the return of residents to their places of permanent residence, as well as for the restoration of infrastructure. -02D-
