Baku/11.03.22/Turan: On March 9 the Russian government lifted restrictions imposed earlier on flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iran. This was stated in a Rosaviatsia message on the website of this agency.

This information was misinterpreted as the resumption of flights between the countries.

Recall that flights to Russia were halted a week ago due to the inability to insure passenger planes because of international sanctions against Russia. -02D-
