Ali Hasanov in the role of Darwin
At a meeting with young people Head of Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, Ali Hasanov, called on the members to be a representative of the "highest level."
"When you're not there, these places are occupied by people with low intelligence. Look at the Azerbaijani press. Look who wants to guide society? People with much more lower intellectual level than you, but by many times more active than you. Why they are more active? " Hasanov asked a rhetorical question.
He also advised that lately young people are more inclined to business than science.
He promised to solve the state housing, living, and social problems of youth. According to him, in the beginning of the year the President ordered to submit a new concept of mortgage lending.
The talk is about identifying the easiest ways of mortgage loans, simplify procedures. "Funds of the banks for mortgages should be increased. We have an opportunity. Our foreign exchange reserves reach 50 billion dollars," said Hasanov. However, he said nothing about how young scientists can return loans with their small salaries barely covering their subsistence minimum.—06D-
