The chief ideologist of the authorities, Ali Hasanov, continues his hobby: search for internal and external enemies of Azerbaijan.
"Today some forces in Azerbaijan are trying to slow down its development. Among us there are writers, poets, non-governmental organizations, journalists, political parties, whose hands Azerbaijan want to inflict moral damage" said Hasanov at the Sixth Congress of the Council of Elders of the country.
"Ilham Aliyev does not agree with any phenomenon, which may be detrimental to Azerbaijan. But in this situation there are people in the country who want to
create confrontation, and heat situation inside. Only the elders can prevent them," he said.
Then the Congress elected its head Fattah Heydarov, the MP and father of the Minister of Emergency Situations.
After that, members of the Congress nominated Ilham Aliyev a candidate for presidency in the upcoming presidential elections in October.-16D-
