Aliyev: Turkey to Be De Jure or De Facto at Negotiating Table
Baku / 14.10.20 / Turan: Turkey will de jure or de facto participate in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the Turkish TV channel Haber Turk.
“Ankara's opinion is listened to and taken into account. Today, the situation in the South Caucasus is being discussed by the heads of the Foreign Ministries and Defense Ministries of Russia and Turkey. This already speaks for itself. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will not be settled without Ankara's participation,” the Azerbaijani leader said.
According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group was created in the early 90s and some of its participants have no relation or interest in the South Caucasus.
Referring to the course of hostilities, Aliyev said that during the last battles, about 200 units of Armenian armored vehicles were destroyed, and 33 tanks were captured as a trophy. Also destroyed were two complexes of air defense systems S-300 and much more.
“The cost of weapons destroyed by the Azerbaijani army after September 27 reaches $ 2 billion. All this was presented to Yerevan,” Aliyev said. -02D-
