Baku/28.06.20/Turan: Member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Elshad Atayev arrested for 10 days.
According to the PFA, Turan was told that Atayev was detained on June 26 in the Imishli district.
On Saturday, the district court sentenced him to 10 days of arrest, convicted under the Article 535.1 (not subordinate to the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
PFPA believes that Atayev was arrested due to activity on social networks and criticism of the authorities.
