Another terrorist attack by Armenians in Karabakh kills 4 MIA officers
Baku/19.09.23/Turan: Four employees of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry were killed after being blown up by a mine while travelling to the site of an explosion of a car of the State Roads Agency of Azerbaijan this morning at 58 km of the Ahmedbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha highway.
This is stated in a joint report of the press service of the State Security Service, the Interior Ministry and the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan.
At about 04.30 the vehicle "Kamaz", in which there were employees of the Interior Ministry hit a mine laid by a sabotage group of illegal Armenian armed groups on the tunnel road in the territory of Tagaverd village of Khojavand region.
As a result of the terrorist attack, Interior Ministry officers Jamalzadeh Asim Knyaz oglu, born in 1994, Shirinov Ramil Arif oglu, born in 1987, Mahmudov Seymur Elsever oglu, born in 1991, and Zamanov Hazar Azer oglu, born in 1998, were killed.
A criminal case was opened at the SSS main investigation department under Articles 214.2.1, 214.2.2, 214.2.3 (terrorism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, an organised group or a criminal association (criminal organisation), 120.2.1, 120.2.4, 120.2.7, 120.2.10, 120.2.11, 120.2. 12 (premeditated murder of two or more persons committed with particular cruelty or in a generally dangerous manner by a group of persons by prior conspiracy motivated by ethnic hatred or enmity), 228.3 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transport or carrying by an organised group of weapons, components, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices) and other Articles of the Criminal Code.

According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, officials from the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office's Anti-Smuggling Unit have detained an Azerbaijani citizen with a large shipment of gold. The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
