Appellation Court leaves n detention three activists
Today Baku Court of Appeal considered the complaint of Ulvi Hasanli, the head of the organization "Free Youth", and an activists of the same structure Majid Marjanli and Kenan Gasymly.
Young people challenged the illegality of their arrest for 15 days on charges of not subordinate the police and asked to release them.
The court dismissed the complaint of the activists detained on July 14, according to the lawyer Rustam Zulfuqarov. He said that the young people rejected the allegations, and the evidence of their not subordination to the police were not provided.
Moreover, in the report drawn up by police, alleges that the young people were spreading "anti-state" leaflets. However, no evidence of these actions were provided to the court. -16D06-
