Armenia allocates land to the FSB of Russia in Meghri, where the Zangezur corridor will go
Baku/27.05.21/Turan: On May 27, the Armenian government decided to allocate land plots. The issue was not discussed, Sputnik-Armenia reports. The substantiation of the decision says, "according to the trilateral statement of November 9, it became necessary to strengthen the southeastern borders of Armenia."
It should be reminded that a railway and a road would pass through Meghri to connect mainland Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan. The reference to the document dated November 9 indicates that Yerevan has taken a step towards the implementation of one of the points of this agreement, which implies the creation of the Zangezur corridor.
As for the lands in Kafan and Tekhe, border guards of the Federal Security Service of Russia will also be deployed there, which will help in strengthening the Armenian border. -02D-
