Armenian attacks on Mingachevir repelled by Azerbaijani air defense forces
Baku / 11.10.20 / Turan: The Armenian Armed Forces attacked the energy infrastructure of Azerbaijan at night and in the morning.
On the night of about 04:00 am on October 11, the enemy armed forces, aiming at the largest thermal power plant in the South Caucasus - the Mingachevir hydroelectric power station, subjected the large industrial city of Mingachevir, located more than 100 km from the front zone, to rocket fire. The missiles were neutralized by the air defense forces of the Azerbaijani army, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office said.
In the morning of October 11, the air defense of Azerbaijan destroyed an Armenian UAV heading towards Mingachevir.
"On October 11, at 08:00 (07:00 Moscow time), an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of Armenia, which attempted to fly in the Mingachevir direction, was destroyed by Azerbaijani air defense units," the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in the morning. - 06D-
