Baku/23.04.23/Turan: On April 23, at about 15:10, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of Giziljig settlement of the Garakilsa region using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions in the direction of Minkand settlement of the Lachin region.
The Azerbaijan Army Units stationed in these directions took adequate retaliatory measures.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan also rejected the involvement of the Azerbaijani side in the death of the Armenian military in the Zodd direction:
«The information spread in the Armenian media about death of an Armenian serviceman as a result of the shooting allegedly fired by the the Azerbaijani Army Units in Zod direction of the Basarkechar region is false and disinformation. We categorically deny this news».-0-

The preliminary investigation into the case of Russian oligarch and former "state minister" of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh, Ruben Vardanyan, has been completed.
