At the military parade, Azerbaijan will show new types of weapons: the minister
Baku / 20.06.18 / Turan: At the military parade on June 26 the anti-missile system of Azerbaijan will be demonstrated, Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov said today, speaking to cadets of the country's higher military school.
We are talking about long-range missile-artillery systems capable of destroying ground and air targets in the depth of enemy territory, the minister said, without revealing the details.
According to him, within a few years, the combat vehicles of the armed forces will be fully updated and modernized, and new artillery systems will be purchased. According to him, the army is equipped with 90% automated control systems.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan possesses anti-aircraft missile systems "C 300 Favorite", "C 200", "BOOK M1", "TOR2E" (Russia), "Iron Dome", "Barak" and "Spider" (Israel), and also several radar systems of Israeli and Russian production.
In June of this year, Azerbaijan received mid-range missile systems Polonaise (Belarus) and LORA (Israel). -02D-
