Baku/10.09.21/Turan: "Political parties: Victory, new realities and dialogue" was the topic of the meeting of the department for relations with political parties and the legislative branch of the Presidential Administration with the leaders of the country's political parties.
The meeting was attended by the heads of 45 parties, according to an official statement from the presidential administration.
Adalat Valiyev, the head of the department for relations with political parties and legislative power of the Presidential Administration, noted, after the victorious war last autumn and Azerbaijan's restoration of its territorial integrity, a new stage has begun in the history of statehood.
An end was put to the policy of aggression and occupation carried out by Armenia against Azerbaijan for almost 30 years.
Speaking about the political processes taking place in the country, Veliyev said that "as a result of systemic and multi-vector administrative and political reforms of President Ilham Aliyev, work with political parties was re-organized, based on the creation of a healthy dialogue between the authorities and the opposition, and a new political configuration."
Veliyev also reported on the discussion of proposals submitted by political parties on the new bill "On political parties". He recalled the allocation of offices for 22 political parties that do not have headquarters.
A number of parties were provided with seats for political parties to hold overdue conventions. After a long hiatus, 7 new political parties were registered.
Leaders of political parties are invited to speak in various press organs and on television channels, Veliyev continued.
During the Patriotic War, the parties showed national unity and "this showed the whole world the readiness of the Azerbaijani people to consolidate in matters of national importance."

In their speeches, the leaders of the parties stressed the importance of an atmosphere of political dialogue in maintaining stability in the country and mobilizing all opportunities for the development of the state. –06В-
