Ayvazyan to Ask Baku's Permission before Going to Karabakh
Baku/15.01.21/Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry threatened Armenian officials with sanctions in the event of an unauthorized visit to Karabakh. The country's Foreign Ministry said in a commentary that if the Armenian Foreign Minister visits Azerbaijan again without the permission of official Baku, it may "cost the Armenian side dearly."
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry also called groundless the statements of the Armenian Foreign Ministry that the status of Nagorno-Karabakh should be determined through negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“We would like to remind the Armenian officials that President Ilham Aliyev has sent the status to the dustbin of history,” the Foreign Ministry said.
Let us remind that on the eve the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ara Ayvazyan stated that the issue of the status of Karabakh remains open and the conflict can be resolved if the right of the Armenians of Karabakh to self-determination is recognized. -05D-
