Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan discuss implementation of intercontinental transport corridors
Baku/11.05.22/Turan: On May 10, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov of Azerbaijan discussed in Ashgabat with Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdymukhammedov issues of expanding cooperation in trade, economic, fuel and energy, transport and telecommunications spheres.
According to the official report of the Turkmen side, the sides paid special attention to "implementation of projects of intercontinental transit corridors that provide convenient land and sea routes for cargo transportation.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov stressed the necessity of full use of two states' potentialities for successful implementation of new transport corridors.
The significance of developing relations in the energy, which is of strategic importance for the economies of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, was also emphasized. -02D-

Official Baku has condemned the visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the Azerbaijan-Armenia border during his official visit to Armenia. "The visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the to Armenia-Azerbaijan border area in the company of members of the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA), unfortunately, is another demonstration of anti-Azerbaijani policy of different EU member countries and European institutions. By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Siyavush Kerimi has been relieved of his duties as rector of the National Conservatory. By another decree from the head of state, Khamila Dadashzade has been appointed as the new rector of the institution. Previously, she headed the Department of Music History and Theory at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Dadashzade is a member of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan.
