Azerbaijan Grand Prix Formula-1 Canceled
Baku /12.06.20 / Turan: This year Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix car races will not take place. This decision was made by the organizers of the competition.
Along with the Baku stage, the Grand Prix of Singapore and Japan was canceled, the organizers said in a statement.
The report noted that the cancellation of the race is associated with the pandemic of the coronavirus COVID-19.
In this regard, promoters in Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japan decided to cancel the race in 2020 in view of the difficulties encountered.
Initially, the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan was planned for early June. Later it was reported that the Baku stage was postponed to early September. –06D-
