Azerbaijan invited South Korean companies to participate in projects in the liberated territories
Baku/19.08.21/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a parliamentary delegation of South Korea headed by Speaker of the National Assembly Park Byon Sok today.
Welcoming the guests, Aliyev expressed his confidence that the visit of the delegation would contribute to the development of Korean-Azerbaijani relations.
It should be remembered that the Korean companies are involved in various projects in Azerbaijan, and Aliyev expressed his hope that the volume of trade and economic relations would continue to grow.
"We have invited Korean companies to implement projects in the liberated territories. I have repeatedly emphasized that companies from countries friendly to Azerbaijan will participate in these projects. The amount of work that needs to be done is very large. We need to restore 10,000 square kilometres of territories," Aliyev stressed.
Besides, there are good opportunities for the development of inter-parliamentary ties, Aliyev noted.
The Speaker of the South Korean parliament noted that he was glad to visit Azerbaijan in a significant year – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. To his thinking, the potential of cooperation between the two countries far exceeds the current level of bilateral ties and there are opportunities for their expansion.—06D-
