Azerbaijan released a Lebanese woman detained in Karabakh
Baku/11.03.21/Turan: With the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a citizen of Lebanon, detained in Nagorno-Karabakh on November 10, was returned. This information confirmed the head of the public relations department of the Baku office of the ICRC, Ilaha Huseynova. The Committee facilitated her return to her country of Lebanon.
During her detention in Azerbaijan, representatives of the ICRC visited her and created conditions for maintaining contact with her family.
According to Armenian media, Lebanese citizen Maral Najaryan was detained during the hostilities in November 2021.
According to the Armenian side, Najaryan was detained by the Azerbaijani military on November 10, 2020, when she tried to enter Shusha. According to the same sources, she arrived in Armenia from Lebanon and expressed a desire to settle in Karabakh. -16D-
