Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry's forces sent to Turkey to carry out rescue work at earthquake site
Baku/06.02.23/Turan: 370 employees of the Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry sent to Turkey to participate in rescue works at the site of the strong earthquake.
Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to the people of Turkey in connection with the numerous casualties.
As of the morning of 6 February the number of dead exceeded 76 people, 440 more were injured. The earthquake affected the provinces of Diyarbekir, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa and some others.
According to Turkish authorities, the magnitude of the earthquake at 4:17 local time was 7.4. -02D-
