Azerbaijani peacekeepers remain at Kabul airport
Baku/08.17.21/Turan: The general state of the Azerbaijani peacekeepers serving at the Kabul International Airport of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is stable.
"Our peacekeepers are currently performing tasks to ensure security and defense in the sector assigned to them," reads the statements of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry released on August 17.
"The peacekeeping subdivision of the Azerbaijan Army, consisting of 120 people, together with the Turkish forces continues to fulfill its duties to ensure the security of the airport,” said the message. — 06D-
