Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit against Semyon Pegov
Baku / 12.10.20 / Turan: The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan has filed a lawsuit against the author of the Wargonzo project, a citizen of the Russian Federation, Semyon Pegov, who is illegally located in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
The Prosecutor's Office analyzed videos of Pegov with open calls for violation of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, circulated on the Internet. This gave grounds to suspect Pegov of a criminal connection by the Armenian military in Armenia and in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, violation of the state border of Azerbaijan and its illegal crossing.
It was reported that he penetrated through Armenia to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to support the illegal regime of separatists in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In his reports, Pegov contacts Armenian volunteers, interviews members of terrorist groups, calls on Russian citizens to come to the war zone and help Armenia.
In fact, the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan opened a criminal case under Articles 214-2 (public calls for terrorism), 281.1 (public calls directed against the state) and 318.2 (illegal crossing of the state border of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code.
The Prosecutor General's Office sent a request for legal assistance to the competent authorities of Russia.-06D
