European Union calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to observe the ceasefire
Baku / 12.10.20 / Turan: Brussels is concerned about non-compliance with the ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
“The EU is following with extreme concern reports of ongoing hostilities, including against civilian targets, and civilian casualties,” EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said on October 11.
He called on the conflicting parties to abide strictly the armistice agreement, in addition, "to immediately begin negotiations on the merits under the auspices of the Minsk Group," DW reports. --0—
