Azerbaijan's New Deputy Defense Minister
Baku / 09.07.20 / Turan: By order of the head of state, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics, Lieutenant General Fuad Mammadov was relieved of his post.
Lieutenant General Nizam Osmanov has been appointed interim Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics, Turan was told in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the same source, Fuad Mammadov was transferred to another position that is not indicated in the message.
As for Nizam Osmanov, until now he was the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, and before that he commanded a corps of the Armed Forces. -02D-
