At a press briefing, he said that the index - 9M723 was found in the debris of the missiles. "The analysis confirmed that it was the “Iskander-M complex," Ismayilov said, adding that research in the area where the missiles fell was continuing.
Russia officially supplied Armenia with the “Iskander-E” complex in 2016. This modification of the complex has a limited firing range - up to 280 km.
“Iskander-M” was not officially supplied by Russia abroad, but these complexes are at the 102-Russian base in Gyumri in Armenia. Thus, it turns out that a missile strike was struck on the territory of Azerbaijan by the Russian military from a base in Armenia.
