Baku OPEC + meeting to be held in March
Baku/18.01.19/Turan: The OPEC + (JMMC) ministerial committee on monitoring the implementation of the transaction will be held in Baku on March 17-18, press-release of the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry. The same information was confirmed by OPEC.
"OPEC + calls on the participating countries to increase their efforts to fully and timely fulfill their obligations in adjusting the volume of supply in order to be confident that the market will be balanced in 2019," the report said.
In 2018 Azerbaijan produced an average of 792.6 thousand barrels of oil, but by agreement with OPEC + will reduce the volume to 776 thousand b/s .-- 0--

In late December, the Nakhchivan Court for Serious Crimes concluded the trial of former Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Rafael Aliyev, and former head of the Nakhchivan Customs Committee’s department, Mansur Askerov. Both were accused of embezzling state budget funds in collusion with others. In his testimony, Askerov revealed that illegal fees were being collected for cargo and from passengers.
