Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry sent a note to Iran regarding the arrest in Tehran of the Azerbaijani writer, Khalida Khalid.
As the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the note was transferred to the Iranian side by the consulate of Azerbaijan in Tabriz.
Khalida was arrested on April 30 by intelligence agencies in the house of the writer
Mohammed Rashid (ethnic Azerbaijani.) Several otrher people were rrested together with them.

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi.
