Barack Obama congratulates Ilham Aliyev on Ramadan
U.S. President Barack Obama sent a message on the occasion of Ramadan to President Ilham Aliyev.
The letter expressed a hope that the holy month of Ramadan would contribute to moral cleansing of the Muslims of Azerbaijan, and would be a period of mercy and goodness.
Obama wished Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people peace, health and prosperity. -16D –

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
