Belarusian Prime Minister goes to Baku "to look for opportunities"
Baku 16.05.22/Turan: Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on May 18. This was reported by BELTA agency with reference to the press service of the Belarusian government.
"The purpose of the visit is specific and practical. If the Azerbaijani side is not interested in some areas and if they have more favorable offers from other states, so we need to find new ones. Find opportunities to expand trade turnover," BelTA quoted the Prime Minister.
From the above it may be concluded that Baku is not much interested in the regular business projects of Lukashenko while the Prime Minister has to convince the Azerbaijani leadership to accept them.
The two-day program includes meetings with the country's leadership, a visit to the Ganja automobile plant, Caspian Agro and Inter Food international exhibitions, as well as Iglim military-industrial complex.
Moreover, a business meeting between the business circles of Belarus and Azerbaijan is planned in the framework of the visit.-16B-
