Chief Executive of Lachin Does Not Answer Question about Support of Kurdish Separatists
Baku / 10/03/17 / Turan: Aghil Nazarli, the chief executive of the Lachin district, declined to answer journalists" questions about the fate of the head of the legal department of the district"s executive power, Fizuli Tanriverdiyev.
On October 3, Nazarli literally ran away from journalists who demanded from him an answer to the question why a person openly supporting the Kurdish separatists is in a chief office in an official state department of Azerbaijan.
Recall that Tanriverdiyev openly welcomed the proclamation of a so-called independent Kurdish state in the north of Iraq on his Facebook page.
The Azerbaijani authorities did not react to this unprecedented event.
Recall that the Lachin region of Azerbaijan has been under Armenian occupation since May 1992. -03B-
