CIS Security Bodies Discuss Fight against Terrorism in Baku
Baku / 05.10.17 / Turan: A plenary meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council under the antiterrorist centers of the CIS countries and a regional meeting of the anti-terrorist units of security agencies of the CIS member states opened in Baku on Thursday.
The goal of the consultations is to further strengthen the cooperation of CIS special services, exchange experience and create effective technologies to combat extremism and terrorism.
The Deputy Director of the CIS Antiterrorist Center Marat Abdyraev noted that the ways to combat the remote impact applied by international terrorist organizations for recruiting supporters among citizens of the CIS countries are being discussed. He added that the meetings are held annually. This meeting is being held in Baku for the first time. -02D-
