Co-rapporteur of the Monitoring PACE Committee meets with deputies
Baku / 04.07.19 / Turan: On July 4 Co-rapporteur of the PACE Monitoring Committee on Azerbaijan, Stefan Schennach, met with members of the Milli Mejlis as part of his visit to Baku.
Participant of the meeting Asim Mollazade told Turan, during the meeting relations between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe, issues of monitoring the country's fulfillment of its obligations, processes in the Council of Europe were discussed.
According to Mollazade, Schennach highly appreciated the pardon in Azerbaijan in March of this year. In addition, reforms in the judicial system were discussed, the deputy noted.
The meeting was also attended by deputies: Siyavush Novruzov, Fazail Agamaly, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Faraj Guliyev, Araz Alizade, Tahir Karimli, and Elshan Mustafayev. -06D--
