In the Baku Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office began an investigation in connection with the armed incident that took place on 1 May. According to media reports, MES General in the state of strong alcoholic intoxication threatened an officer of the Special State Protection Service (SSPS).
During the preliminary investigation it was found that at 2 o'clock at night at the territory of the 6th district there was a conflict between the senior officer SSPS chief Famil Guliyev and the head of the Service Emergency, Major-General Ramil Jafarov. The reason for the conflict was the fact that while driving they did not want to cede way to each other.
On this basis there was a skirmish between men. Jafarov, insulted Guliyev and left the scene. Guliyev’s friend, police inspector Khudiyev Rafael, arrived to the scene, and decided to intervene; he reached Jafarov and stopped him. The General went out of the car, and threatened Khudiyev with his service pistol Jeriko. However, a police officer was not taken aback, and struck Jafarov, disarming him.
The police officers managed to come up to them , and took all the participants of the incident to the police, where all gave an explanation.
Binagadi district prosecutor's office told Turan about the beginning of investigation of this fact by refraining from detailed comments..-06D-
