Defeated group of the Armenian armed forces advancing on the Hadrout – Ministry of defence
Baku/10.10.20/Turan: ignoring the humanitarian ceasefire, units of the Armenian armed forces, having gathered forces and means, tried to launch an offensive in different directions of the front, the press service of the Azerbaijani defense Ministry reported on the evening of October 10.
In the daytime, an attack was launched on Hadrut from the village of Tug, and on Jabrail from the directions of Aragul and Banazur.
"As a result of the Azerbaijani army's preventive measures, the enemy was forced to retreat. Thanks to the correct organization of the defense, the enemy's advance was prevented. The enemy, having fallen into the trap, was defeated. As a result of the collision, the enemy lost 38 people, 2 Grad VM-21 multiple rocket launchers, 7 guns and 2 vehicles with ammunition. Our troops have an operational advantage along the entire front," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
In addition, on Saturday evening, the Armenian armed forces began to fire at the territory of the Agdam district in gross violation of the ceasefire.

The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
