Deliveries of special equipment for the de-occupied territories of Azerbaijan have begun
Baku/09.12.22/Turan: On December 9, President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with special-purpose equipment purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and modern ambulances purchased by the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance (TƏBIB) for use in the liberated territories, the website of the President of Azerbaijan informs.
The Minister for Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaleddin Heydarov, informed the President that 100 KamAZ and 50 Iveco brand fire trucks were purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for fire protection in the liberated territories. 9 Iveco vehicles have already been delivered to the de-occupied territories, and 41 vehicles are expected to be imported in the first quarter of 2023.
For the same purposes, 5 Nissan Patrol brands, 11 Lada Niva Trave brands and 6 GAZEL units, 4 modern GCS (Global Clearance Solutions)-200 diesel demining robots with external control, cars of the brand " Ural".
Then the head of state got acquainted with modern ambulances purchased by the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance.
TƏBİB Board Chairman Zaur Aliyev said that the focus is on the growing demand and provision of newly created medical centers, stations, including hospitals built in our liberated territories, with ambulances.
In total, since 2020, the agency has purchased 249 Fiat Doblo, 131 Mercedes and 34 Ford Transit ambulances. Also, special 2-differential (4x4) Mercedes Vito vehicles provide comfortable and safe movement of the ambulance team in mountainous and off-road conditions. These cars were used in the evacuation of the wounded in difficult and off-road conditions during the 44-day Patriotic War. After the distribution of newly purchased ambulances, the total number of ambulances in operation in the country will be 974 units.—0—
