Disarmament of Armenian armed forces has begun in Karabakh
Baku/22.09.23/Turan: In Karabakh, the disarmament of the Armenian armed formations and their surrender of military equipment began. As of September 22, six units of armored vehicles, more than 800 units of small arms and anti-tank weapons, and about 5,000 ammunition were delivered, according to the newsletter of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
It is also reported that peacekeepers ensure the delivery of humanitarian goods for the civilian population of Karabakh through the Lachin and Aghdam roads. In total, over 50 tons of food were delivered.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to have 826 civilians, including 440 children, who are currently unable to return to their homes. Their accommodation, food and medical care have been organized, the message concludes. -06B-
