Discussing the issues of development of Azerbaijani-Israeli inter-parliamentary relations
Baku/04.09.23/Turan: The Milli Majlis hosted a meeting of members of the Azerbaijani-Israeli inter-parliamentary relations group headed by Anatoly Rafailov with a delegation of a similar group in the Knesset headed by deputy Yevgeny Sova.
Rafailov noted that Azerbaijan and Israel are friendly countries and relations between them are developing steadily, the press service of the Milli Majlis.
"The ties between our countries are based on historical roots. Representatives of the Jewish people in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijanis in Israel live in an atmosphere of friendship and participate in public and political life," Rafailov said.
During the meeting, issues of the development of inter-parliamentary ties, as well as prospects for economic cooperation were discussed. ---03B06---
