Erkin Gadirli supported resolution in support of Navalny in PACE
Baku/20.04.21/Turan: At a meeting of the legal committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), during the discussion of the issue of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, the representative of Azerbaijan, a deputy from the REAL party Erkin Gadirli voted for a resolution in support of Navalny.
The document will be put to a vote today at the plenary session of the assembly. The resolution requires the Russian authorities to release Navalny and fully comply with the verdict of the European Court of Human Rights against him.
In fact, this is the first time in many years when a deputy from Azerbaijan supported a document directed against the authorities of the Russian Federation. As a rule, the Azerbaijani delegation avoids such steps. — 06D-

However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
