European Parliament to discuss relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Baku/12.06.23/Turan: The European Parliament will hold hearings on the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on June 13, the website of the European Parliament.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Affairs, Josep Borrel, will also take part in the hearings.
The parliamentarians will discuss the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the situation around the Lachin road.
On April 23, Azerbaijan established the Lachin border checkpoint at the starting point of the Lachin-Khankendi road on the border with Armenia.
Despite the fact that Armenia and the Karabakh separatists continue to claim about the "blockade" of the Armenian-populated part of Karabakh, more and more Armenian residents of the region use this road going to Armenia and back. ---16D06---
