Exhibition "Education in Europe" is held in Baku
The representative office of the European Union (EU) in Azerbaijan is holding an exhibition "Education in Europe" for those wishing to get an education in European universities.
As the head of the EU office to Azerbaijan Peter Mikhalko noted at the opening ceremony of the event on November 18, the educational exhibition is being organized in Baku for the second year in a row with the support of the EU mission, embassies of member states, as well as prestigious EU universities.
"Education is a key area of cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan. Many Azerbaijanis have already been educated in the EU, and I hope that most of you will also join the number of students of European universities," Mikhalko said. He stressed that the sphere of higher education in the European Union provides opportunities for access to world-class universities and research programs. "European universities are open to students from Azerbaijan and many other countries. Studying in one of the EU countries will allow students not only to get a high-quality higher education, but also the opportunity to travel and make new friends," Mikhalko continued.
The exhibition "Education in Europe" is one of the events held within the framework of the "European Year of Skills" initiative, under the motto of which 2023 is held in the EU.
Its purpose is to draw attention to the importance of teaching modern skills and improving vocational education, which will help companies in the EU and other countries to solve the acute problem of staff shortages.
The exhibition "Education in Europe" is being held in Baku on November 18-19 at the Hilton hotel in the capital.
Anyone interested in studying in Europe can register and join the event on the website www.studyineu.az .
