Failed meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers
Baku/04.12.21/Turan: A meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers at the OSCE Ministerial Conference in Stockholm on December 3 that was announced by Yerevan has taken no place, spokesman Vahan Unanian said. This was reported by spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hounanian.
He failed to explain the reason for disrupting the meeting which has been reported several times by the Armenian side. However, Hounanian added that "the Armenian side has never declined from meetings within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
From his words, we can conclude that Yerevan insisted on holding a meeting with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs which Baku did not agree to.
At the same time the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said nothing about the planned meeting between Bayramov and Mirzoyan, either with or without the co-chairs. -02D-
