Fights on Lachin Road, Outskirts of Shusha - Armenian Media
Baku / 06.11.20 / Turan: Intense fighting has been going on the outskirts of the city of Shusha over the past two days, Armenian sources report. This is confirmed by several foreign journalists on the spot.
At the same time, it is reported about clashes on the Lachin-Shusha road, which, according to Armenian media, was blocked by two groups of Azerbaijani special force.
The positions of the Armenian troops in Shusha and Khankendi are subject to intense shelling, but the Armenian media portray this as shelling civilian targets.
According to Armenian sources, in recent days, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were able to concentrate a significant amount of manpower in the direction of Shusha and continue to build it up, despite the efforts of the Armenians to prevent this.
The representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan said yesterday that the Azerbaijani army plans to take the city of Shusha and hoist its flag over the city by November 9.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan does not comment on these messages. -02B-
