Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan replies to Russia
Baku / 05.07.17 / Turan: At today"s press conference the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev "answered" the accusations of the Russian Foreign Ministry about not allowing their citizens to Azerbaijan because of their Armenian names.
Instead of explaining why Baku introduced these restrictions, Hajiyev began to talk about the fact that "Azerbaijan is proud of the traditions of multiculturalism, which is an example for the whole world."
According to him, Azerbaijan suffers from the Armenian occupation, as a result of which ethnic cleansing was carried out in the occupied territories. "Unfortunately, some people of Armenian nationality display hostility on ethnic grounds. Therefore, we take some measures," he said. -03D-
