Baku/18.08.23/Turan: The founders of the "Geycha Zangezur Republic" have announced the liquidation of their organisation.
The statement sent calls to the media to support Ilham Aliyev's policy and unite around the Community of Western Azerbaijanis, which legally and authoritatively defends Western Azerbaijanis.
It should be recalled that a few days ago the founders of "Geycha Zangezur Republic" - Rizvan Talibov and Tunzalya Chalabiyeva were detained by law enforcement bodies. No reason for the detention was made public.
Recall that "Geycha Zangezur Republic" was established in Turkey in September 2022. Its founders declared their goal to fight for the return of Azerbaijanis to their historical homeland - the territory of modern Armenia. These are mainly the regions adjacent to the lake of Geycha (Sevan) and the Zangezur (Syunik) region. -0-

President Ilham Aliyev approved the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in transit cargo transportation along the "North-South" international transport corridor (ITC) on February 11, 2025.
