Free Economic Zone Opened on Iranian-Armenian Border
Baku / 16.12.17 / Turan: On December 15, a Free Economic Zone (FEZ) was opened near the city of Meghri on the border between Armenia and Iran.
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at the opening ceremony that this zone will allow Armenia to implement economic projects with Russia, the European Union, Iran and other countries.
It is planned to activate trade and tourism with Iran through Meghri.
He called on the Iranian business to settle in Meghri and from there to enter the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union. -02D-
