From March 5, Ports of Kazakhstan Will Not Serve Ships from Azerbaijan and Iran
Baku / 04.03.30 / Turan: Service of vessels arriving from Azerbaijan and Iran carrying out the transportation of people and vehicles is temporarily suspended in the seaports of Kazakhstan. This measure is associated with the threat of the spread of corona virus, reports Sputnik-Kazakhstan. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Industry of Kazakhstan.
A ban is imposed on the crews of foreign cargo ships to leave at the ports of Aktau and Kuryk.
Information on the measures taken will be brought to the attention of the maritime administrations of the Caspian littoral states.
In addition, Iranian citizens will be barred from entering Kazakhstan from March 5. This was announced by Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
At the same time, the Kazakh authorities canceled the Nur-Sultan-Baku flight from March 5, the number of flights from Almaty to Baku is reduced from five to one, and the Aktau-Baku flight is limited from seven to one. -02D-
