General Prosecutor's Office denies ban to leave country for former Prosecutor General
Baku/05.09.22/Turan: Prosecutor General's Office has not confirmed reports on a ban to leave the country for former Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov.
"The information about the introduction of a ban on departure from the country for former Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov is not consistent with reality," the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told Turan to comment on reports in social networks about not permitting Garalov to board a flight at the Baku airport.
A number of sources claimed that an investigation was launched against Garalov because of the improper investigation into the "Terter case," the "MNS case" and others.
Recall that Garalov served as Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan from 2000 to 2020.-03B-
