Georgian Parliament ratifies agreement on defense cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan
Baku/14.06.23/Turan: On June 13, the Georgian Parliament ratified the Azerbaijani-Georgian intergovernmental agreement on defense cooperation.
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia Grigola Giorgadze, the document provides for cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the two countries. The agreement covers such areas as military education, training and exercises, logistics, military medicine, military legislation, military topography, cybersecurity, cooperation within the framework of the NATO Partnership for Peace program, etc.
Also, the parties intend to cooperate in the field of politics and security. It ought to be noted that the agreement was signed in Baku in April this year by the Defense Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan, Juansher Burchuladze and Zakir Hasanov. -03B-
