Ilham Aliyev, Charles Michel Discuss Azerbaijan-EU Cooperation
Baku / 18.06.20 / Turan: On June 17, a telephone conversation took place between President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The press service of the President of Azerbaijan said that Aliyev and Michel discussed the upcoming June 18 Summit of the Eastern Partnership countries in a video conference format.
The parties touched upon the progress of work on the Partnership Agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union, the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor project, the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, regional security issues, and measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Ilham Aliyev and Charles Michel expressed confidence that relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan are successfully developing in the interests of both parties. -02D-
