Baku/12.07.21/Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory telegram to the head of Italy Sergio Mattarella on winning the title of European football champion by “Squadra Azzura.”
“I sincerely congratulate the Italian footballers who have shown great skill, great determination, and invincible will in all games of the European Championship and won this high title for the second time in their history,” the message of the Azerbaijani president says.
He expressed confidence that "the parties will continue their successful efforts to further expand the traditional friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership."
“I join you in this momentous time and wish you strong health, happiness and prosperity to the friendly people of Italy,” the message says. -06D-.
